Madison Keim, daughter of Jim and Mindy Keim of Queen City, Missouri, was crowned NEMO Fair Queen on July 16, 2017. The event took place, during the NEMO Fair held in Kirksville, Missouri, at the fairgrounds.
Madison represented the Northeast District Fair at the Missouri State Fair Queen Pageant on August 9 and 10, 2017, in Sedalia, Missouri. The 49 participants in the State Fair Queen Pageant were judged on interview, talent, and evening gown categories.
As her talent, Madison clogged to “Rocky Top,” which she also performed at the Missouri State FFA convention this past spring in Columbia, Missouri.
During the state fair, Madison also showed her boer goats, which she raises. She has won several awards for showing her boer goats, such as winning the 2015 State Fair FFA Boer Goat Junior Showmanship Division.
Madison Keim was reserve grand champion FFA Showmanship winner at the 2017 Missouri State Fair. She also won a lightweight division class, making her eligible for the FFA market goat championship drive.
Madison is a 2017 graduate of Kirksville High School. She is attending North Central Missouri College in Trenton, majoring in ag business.
